Kylie Bearse spends more than 3 hours a day behind the desk at KIFI Local News 8 bringing you the latest news and weather. Kylie joined the KIFI news team in June 2011 as a reporter/weekend weatherforecaster after graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BS in Broadcast News and certificate in International Media. In December 2011 she found her schedule completely flipped around when she was promoted to morning anchor.
Kylie Bearse is a true “triple threat” when it comes to on-air talent: she thrives behind the desk, in front of the green screen and loves whenever she gets out in the field. She’s been sent to Boise for a controversial execution, spent early morning hours with families as flooding and fires destroyed their homes, and has had her morals tested when tragedy struck a small town and her camera was one of the first things they saw in the morning. She’s also left a positive imprint on Eastern Idaho; she helped make a young boy’s dream to meet Ellen Degeneres come true after producers at the Ellen show saw her story.
